About GenClear
GenClear is a focused tool for one painful job: removing generative-platform watermarks from AI video without turning the corner of every frame into a blurry guess.
Why this exists
Creators adopted Gemini, Veo, and similar models because the footage is useful. Then they hit the same wall: a diamond or wordmark on every frame, clients who will not accept it, and social apps that already add their own chrome. The common fixes — crop, blur, or generative inpainting — either destroy framing or introduce flicker.
GenClear was built around a different idea: when the mark is an alpha-blended overlay, undo the blend. Recover the scene that was already there. That approach is what lets a free first clean still ship full resolution with a real before/after compare.
Who operates the service
GenClear is operated by Veselin Veselinov, based in Dobrich, Bulgaria. The public site is genclear.net. For privacy requests use [email protected]; for product help use [email protected].
What we optimize for
- Pixel-exact cleanup on supported Gemini and Veo-style marks — not a generic “erase anything” toy.
- Editor-friendly exports that drop into Premiere, Resolve, CapCut, and social schedulers.
- Short retention by default so drafts do not linger on disk longer than needed.
- An API for volume when agencies outgrow drag-and-drop.
Open-source roots
The removal approach builds on ideas and tooling shared in the wider community, including work visible in the VeoWatermarkRemover project. GenClear packages that craft into a hosted product with accounts, billing, queueing, and a web UI — so you do not have to run GPU workers yourself to clean a single clip.
Educational content
Beyond the upload tool we publish practical guides: how Gemini and Veo marks differ, how alpha blending works, how to build clean plates for NLEs, and how to export for TikTok and Reels without stacking compressors. Start at the guides library or the FAQ.
