Export AI Video for TikTok, Reels & Shorts
You removed the generative-platform mark. Now ship a social master that survives another round of compression without looking soft or oddly framed.
Why social exports need a dedicated pass
TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube each re-encode uploads. If your file already carries a Gemini diamond or Veo wordmark, viewers see two brand layers: the AI platform and the social app. If your file was cleaned but then squeezed through three messengers before upload, the clean corner turns to mush.
Treat GenClear output as a clean mezzanine, then make one deliberate social encode (or let the platform encode from a high-quality mezzanine — not from a prior social download).
Recommended order of operations
- Generate and download from Gemini / Veo.

- Export a vertical master (or platform-specific masters).

If the generative clip is landscape, decide early: letterbox creatively, or regenerate a vertical take. Cropping after the fact to hide a watermark is how faces get clipped — clean first with GenClear, then crop for story, not for logo escape.
Bitrate and sharpness tips
- Prefer a high-bitrate H.264 or H.265 mezzanine from your NLE when you add graphics.
- If you upload GenClear's MP4 directly, skip extra “compress for Discord” steps.
- Sharp AI detail dies first under stacked encoders — minimize generations of lossy encode.
- Preview on a phone; desktop monitors hide social UI collisions.
Captions and covers
Burned-in captions should sit in the middle-safe area, not the lower fifth where TikTok and Reels place buttons. Covers/posters should be grabbed from the cleaned file so a diamond never appears in the thumbnail grid.
Compliance reminder
Removing a watermark for publishing does not override the generator's terms or local advertising rules. Disclose AI-generated media when required by platform policy or law. GenClear is a technical cleanup tool for footage you are allowed to process.
