Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies GenClear sets in your browser and cookies that third parties may set when you visit public pages. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies we use

We use strictly necessary cookies for the Service to function (sign-in, guest free-clean limits, and OAuth security). On public marketing and guide pages we may also show ads served by Google AdSense, which can set advertising / measurement cookies as described below.

When AdSense is active, Google and its partners may place and read cookies (or use similar technologies such as web beacons and IP-based signals) to serve ads, limit how often you see an ad, and measure ad performance on our public pages. These technologies may collect information about your visits to this and other sites. We do not use your uploaded video files for advertising.

Learn how Google uses data when you use partner sites: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and, where available, industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance.

3. Other cookies set by third parties

If you go through checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies on the Stripe-hosted checkout and billing-portal pages (outside our domain) for fraud prevention and to run their payment forms. Those are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy. If you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own sign-in pages, governed by Google's Cookie Policy.

4. Managing cookies

Strictly-necessary cookies are required for sign-in and the anonymous free-clean tier. Blocking them will break those features. You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings at any time, and use the Google / industry controls above for advertising preferences. Where required by law (for example under ePrivacy/GDPR for non-essential cookies), we will request consent before non-essential advertising cookies are set.

5. Changes to this policy

If we change how cookies are used, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date.
